Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods. Worth getting lost in -- "Imbroglio" is an absorbing plunge into the life of Noel Valentine: an ad executive who boldly pulls helpless David Cameron from a burning car. Normally such an act of courage would merit a heroine's welcome and afford her the accompanying spoils. But instead, Noel's deeds simply spoil her life. For soon, the man she saved--and the man who saved her job while she recovered--press into action every ounce of Noel's determination as she finds herself a damsel in distress. One spinning out of control and being dragged down by the powerful currents of a consuming conspiracy of corporate greed and lust. It confuses a clear view of who is Noel's friend and who is her foe. That is the suspenseful essence of "Imbroglio." Alana Woods skillfully constructs an authentic conspiracy-mystery that shines with strong characterization throughout. Quotes

Quotes Automaton by Alana Woods -- What a great read! -- I truly enjoyed reading this great story, sharing parts of it with my wife every time she asked me to turn the light off and go to sleep. I was really impressed with Alana Woods style of writing. The way she would make you feel the emotional rollercoaster of each character. Robert was my favorite, it was almost like you can really picture in your head what they are truly feeling. Clear as water. My wife read the book as well and now we are in Alana Woods third book. My wife and I recommend Alana's book to all of our friends and family. Alana is truly gifted. Quotes

Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods --- Thoroughly absorbing --- I have just finished reading "Imbroglio" by Alana Woods. "Imbroglio" is an intricately drawn story that centres on the main characters working to uncover what they perceive to be inconsistencies in the running and operation of a medical equipment company. The subsequent uncovering of a money laundering scheme places them in some very compromising and life threatening situations. I liked a lot of things about "Imbroglio", and among them was the way the author seamlessly weaves into the story subtle clues underpinning the actions and emotions of one of the main characters, Noel Valentine. I found "Imbroglio" a thoroughly absorbing read, and I continued to think about the believable and likeable characters well after I had turned the last page. Quotes

Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods --- Elegant writing, great mystery --- I got into this book at the onset as the author drew me in right away. It's interesting that I cared so much for the main characters, David and Noel, and yet as the book went on their human flaws along with the storyline really had me questioning them. But that's what made them even more human I suppose, their mistakes and choices along the way. It's full of mystery and elements that take awhile to put together, beautifully written and well crafted. Quotes

Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods --- I was so captivated I didn't want to put it down until I finished it! --- I was in the nail salon when I started reading this book. I read the first page and I thought, "What the?..." It was so well written, I had to see how the author was going to tie it all together. For me, a good book makes me say, "Oh, so that's what that meant. Mmm, that's what was going on earlier." In other words, it's tight. Ms. Woods did that for me and so much more! This is one of the best books I've read in this genre in a while! When I started it, I was so captivated I didn't want to put it down until I finished it! Ms. Woods has the rare gift of painting vivid, action-packed pictures with her words. I was there with the characters: smelling the ocean, feeling the sun, hearing the waves... I loved this book, and hope to read more by this author. Quotes

Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods --- This is one of the best books I have read in a while. I literally could not put it down, even though sleep is precious with a 10 month old baby! The author has a wonderfully descriptive style and is a master of dialogue. Her characters are fantastically drawn and have you connecting and caring about them almost from the outset. The 'at sea part' (readers will know which part I mean!) was nail biting in its intensity. Fantastic thriller. I look forward to reading more by the author. Quotes

Quotes Imbroglio by Alana Woods --- Imbroglio lives up to its name,"a confused or perplexing interpersonal situation". The story races along as Noel tries to unravel the puzzle of David, the man she saves from a burning vehicle. The plot twists and turns, keeping you intrigued and wanting to turn the next page. The writing is taut and the wonderfully descriptive characters leap out of the pages. All in all a great read! Quotes
